He was particularly handicapped in the heavier winds (where he's normally unbeatable), but still managed 1st, 1st and 3rd place finishes on the day when the wind was lighter and more stable. Alexis Deniel came to participate in the first round of the World Tour, which was played in Hawaii. At the end of this competition that brought together the world's best in this discipline, he delivered his first impressions to the Telegram newspaper. "Its the end of the competition for me in Hawaii, on Sunset Beach on the North Shore. Tough conditions this year, with the El Nino phenomenon that gave us big and beautiful waves worldwide, and Hawaii was no exception with waves between 3 and 6 m. I've had a good debut season on this legendary spot; with the support of my family, this has been a wonderful experience. I came in eighth over all, after beating Leco Salazar, 2014 World Champion, in the first round. At the material level, I felt more comfortable with my new board (BIC SUP Wave Pro) , which was more adapted to my style and above all very efficient. With many thanks to the support of my partners and the city of Perros-Guirec (FRANCE), I will contend in another round of the Sup World Tour, after the summer, in California."Learn more
